Dr. Carlos Reyes Sport Specialist Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist

Greetings, I'm Dr. Carlos Reyes, a Board-Certified Sports Specialist in Physical Therapy, Board-Certified Physical Therapist, and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with a passion for sports medicine. I have extensive experience working with athletes of all levels, from NBA and NFL stars to high school students and weekend warriors. I'm also a strength and conditioning specialist and have been certified in a variety of techniques, including:

  • Functional Movement Screen

  • Astym Instrument Soft Tissue Mobilization

  • Trigger Point Dry Needling

  • Pain Neuroscience Education

  • Emergency Medical Responder

  • Titleist Performance Institute

I'm dedicated to providing my clients with the best possible care and am always looking for new ways to improve my skills and knowledge. I'm confident in my ability to help you reach your goals and am excited to work with you.

I grew up in Mercedes, TX and have been involved in sports my entire life. I played football, basketball, baseball, track and field in high school and participated in intramural sports and pursued track and field at UT Austin.

​

After college, I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy from UT Health San Antonio. I then completed my Sports Physical Residency through the accredited program, Evidence In Motion. Since then, I've worked with athletes of all levels, from professional athletes to weekend warriors. I've helped athletes recover from injuries, improve their performance, and prevent future injuries.

I'm passionate about helping people reach their goals, and I believe physical therapy can play a major role in helping people achieve their full potential. I'm excited to work with you and help you reach your goals!
